I Know,But I

I know what is my aim, But I am not getting into Hall of fame; I know the rules of the game, But I am not in winner's frame; I know how to make things claim, But I fear they don't go into drain; I know what I have to gain, But I can't recover myself from pain; I know the teachings of Great Saints, But I can't obey it, I just get faint; I know how it feels in the rain, But I haven't what it makes when captured in chain; I know how to remain alone, But I haven't been habitat to world known; I know how to make oneself tame, But I can't rise up in still my name; I know I have lived my life in flames, But I don't want with other same, I know I am getting better with age; But I can't stop my wreckage; I know anyone there writing my fate, But I can't search my correct mate; I know someone checking my deed's rate, But I don't know how to enter Heaven's gate; I know what makes it to wait, But I haven't there to be in the list of trait; I know the fun in flying the kite, But I want anyone who can say I am right
