Hurricanes - An Acrostic, Shape, Dizain Poem Premiere Contest Winner

Hurricanes howling from tropical storms. Under watch and warning, everyone waits. Radar shows rotating clouds taking form. Rain bands flood roads as downpours inundate. Intensity grows; winds accelerate. Conditions worsen, each moment seems tense As buildings strain with winds lashing against. No one feels safe; we think, is this the one? Eye at last passes, and once danger ends Survivors emerge to check damage done. 8/31/2016

Great descriptive shape acrostic dizain poem - how incredibly creative Jesse! I'm very glad we don't suffer from hurricane force winds often here - gale force is bad enough!:-) hugs jan xx

Thank you. I'm in Florida so it's more of a concern (especially now). The shape part was somewhat of a happy coincidence as I noticed my central line had room for an 'eye'
