Heaven’s Loom
“25-26God sacrificed Jesus on the altar of the world to clear that world of sin. Having faith in him sets us in the clear. God decided on this course of action in full view of the public—to set the world in the clear with himself through the sacrifice of Jesus, finally taking care of the sins he had so patiently endured. This is not only clear, but it's now—this is current history! God sets things right. He also makes it possible for us to live in his rightness.” Rom 3:25-26 The Message
The believer’s robe of rightness
Is woven in Heaven’s Loom.
Christ died and rose again to clothe us,
And will be returning soon.
He’ll return to claim His children,
Once clothed in filthy rags of sin.
But due to Heaven’s Loom,
Offered Christ’s rightness within.
Heaven’s Loom weaves spotless robes
Of rightness so shiny white.
A precious gift for the believer,
Who keeps the Savior always in sight.
These spotless robes cannot be purchased,
Or earnt by us in any way,
For they are a gift from the Father;
His everlasting love to portray.
Heaven’s Loom has no need of a shuttle,
Nor a hand the robe to weave,
But rather it’s a mystery
That only heaven does perceive.
God’s grace, mercy and forgiveness
Is granted each repentant soul,
Who seeks His rightness—
Woven by our Lord the goal.
There’s not a thread of sinful humanity
That is stitched in anywhere.
Heaven’s Loom weaves grace and mercy
And God’s love’s woven everywhere.
Each believer’s robe of rightness
Covers every sinful stain.
A gift from our heavenly King,
Who will soon forever more reign!
