Heartache, a Plea To a Lover
Heartache, A Plea To A Lover
When our love departed
misery roared into life
I fell broken-hearted
my cup full of strife
Days grew colder still
sorrow sat many thrones
Heart felt a epic chill
Your words broke my bones
The night's glow cease
a kiss no longer sublime
Do not our love release
give us some more time
I kneel at your feet
cut off at the knees
First night lets repeat
unlock our loving keys
End my silent grieving
pains that torture me
No more dark deceiving
in love again believe
Waste not remaining years
missing skies so blue
Let happiness be our tears
united forever we two
Lets live and die together, a loving pair
never again tasting this great despair!

Note: So long ago. Destiny had other plans, sad but true.
The love of my life could not overcome her drug addiction.
And I simply could not abide what it did to us...
A past that still haunts ... with the usual what ifs...
