Happy Mother's Day, Daughter
Happy Mother's Day, My Dear!
I hope this finds you well.
How you've increased my spirit's wealth,
No tongue on earth can tell.
I thought I'd write this little note,
To say how proud I am,
To say that you're a child of mine,
And that I think you're grand.
Now that you're a mother too,
You understand me more.
I think we see more eye to eye,
Than we did before.
You've grown into a fine young mom,
And I just want to say,
You make me proud, my darling girl,
Every single day.
