Happy Father's Day, God
Lord I want to write a Father's Day poem for you
What can I say when all the words have been taken already?
What can I say that would tell you how appreciative I am?
What do You want to hear that you haven't heard already?
Yours, right?
Ahh you heard that before
Really God, what do you want to hear?
I'll give you the moon, the sun
If they haven't been yours already
I'll give You all of me
Take it
Are You sure You can handle it?
Nah don't think You can
But I'll give You pointers
Now let's see now
I don't like....
Okay seriously what do You want?
What do you want for a man who has everything?
I am referring You as a man
as You are a man to me
You are human to me as humanly possible
You are equal
And You are My God
God when do You ever come here?
How come we never know when You are here?
Do You give your calling cards?
Bet You do
Help us know it
When do You ever see us?
Forever right?
Good, God
Forever
Have a good day, God
May all Your days be filled with sunshine
and our radiant love
May all You take on will be worth taking
May the sun forever shine in your eyes
as You forever look upon us
May You never be disappointed in us
Ahh that's kind of hard, Lord
Can we leave that out? haha
May You always and forever be exalted
May all know Your name
Love You God
