Halloween Is Upon Us
Halloween Is Upon Us
As the earth reaps the harvest
Of trees shedding their colors bold
Pumpkins wear smiles carved
And the air shares a bit of the cold
Adorned scarecrows gaily dressed
Displayed about the neighborhoods
Dangling ghosts and bats dance
As the wind blows through the woods
As the twilight hour approaches
To trick or treat becomes the ruse
Bags in hand from door to door
Children dressed in costumed muse
