Halloween Dream
All around the house, in the dead of night.
Peering through the window panes, keeping out of sight.
Lurking in the corners, away from candle light.
Hiding in the dark then giving me a fright.
Were shadows of a witch, and her scary creepy cat.
Followed by hob goblins, with a blood thirsty bat.
So many lurid shadows dancing on the wall.
For tonight is when lost spirits, answer the call.
While stepping outside, unsteady on my feet.
Two green eyed little gremlins, shouted trick or treat.
As the graveyard gates were creaking, and opening wide.
Dead bodies were staggering and crawling outside.
They once were Jack-o'- Lanterns but when they died,
Denied by Hell and Heaven, they seek somewhere to hide.
When their outstreched hands touched me, i began to scream.
And then i woke up, it was a nightmares dream.
So now, i need reality,to not be so obscene.
For the day after tomorrow, it will be Halloween.
