Half-Hearted

can a girl who knows nothing of love fall in love? Would someone ever come to love her? She only had half a heart to give cause she had been threw so much pain. Her heart grew less and less each and every painful day. A boy who falls hopelessly in love with a half-hearted girl is he only bound to pain? Will anything good come out of such a thing? If he could turn back the hands of time and stop those who hurt the girl and made her become that way, he probably would. The girl wanted to love him back as much as he did her, but she only had half of her love to return which wasn't enough to please.
