Grow Up, Right Now
They want to do the grown up
Like they really grown up
Until that child sprung up
Now they like hold up
But it’s too late now
Just take care of your child
Wish you wouldn’t have laid down
Can’t change your decision now
But even though you have a kid you still got a life to live
It’s gone be hard to gain, now that you got to give
Now how you gone make it
Just because you need it don’t mean that you can take it
Better start praying
Baby daddy like, I’m gone
Should have known
That after he comes he’s gone
I heard it so many times
He tells her lies, so he can get between her thighs
Knowing its wrong, but it feels right
He shouldn’t have ever lied
He shouldn’t have ever tried
He shouldn’t have left his pride
But now it’s gone and he shouldn’t have said goodbye
So this is my only advice,
They want to do the grown up
Like they really grown up
Until that child sprung up
Now they like hold up
But it’s too late now
Just take of your child
Wish you wouldn’t have laid down
Can’t change that decision now
He told her that he loved her
Took advantage of her
Thought he could move on to another
But now he got a baby mother
Chuck you stuck like glue
How can you deny the kid, when he looks just like you?
Can’t get new tennis shoes because child support due
And for the baby mothers who baby daddy strays
Don’t trip it was probably for the best anyways
More than likely he wouldn’t have done much if he stayed
Just another dead beat daddy that give men a bad name
So all I can say is
Keep fighting through the struggle
Keep pulling when they tug you
Keep walking through the tunnel
Keep making a rebuttal
And think before you
Want to do the grown up
Like you really grown up
Until that child sprung up
Now you like hold up
But it’s too late now
Just take care of your child
Wish you wouldn’t have laid down
But you can’t change that decision now
