Grandma, Please Listen
Where are you, Grandma?
Lost through my tears
How about Grandpa
Is he near?
Of Grandpa, he only lives
A shadow in my dream
A picture on your wall
Never hears me call
I hardly know him
But, it's you, Grandma
I miss most of all
I want a cookie, Grandma
Those in the jar
Cannot reach that far
You smile when I try
Grandma, what is old country
Were you wanting a new one
Don't cry, Grandma
Just whisper it
Where is your camp, Grandma?
I've been to camp
Lots of fun
And bugle, when day is done
Grandma, where are you?
Have you heard me on the bugle?
Please listen
I miss you
