The stillest slice of night cuts deep Alone with only mirrored thoughts Reflecting all that softly weep The stillest slice of night cuts deep A splintered plank, now blindly walked The stillest slice of night cuts deep Alone with only mirrored thoughts -09 Aug 2014-

..."A splintered plank, now blindly walked". Love that line. Nice job with the "Tricky Triolet" form

it's rare that I place a repetitive form poem such as a triolet, but I thought this was a very atmospheric little piece, and somehow the repetition reinforced the unsettling tone of the poem - well done, and congrats on your win in my contest! :)
