my rhine stone cowboy i have known you for so long so many records and so many songs we have aged haven't we and words just seem to fade nowa days but i remember when we were in our prime a country music star you were in my time nothing less than all the rest you came out with songs that were the best and now that grey has taken away we look at you and honor this day the best country singer that came our way i'll never forget you and our day you were my generation and you played it well God had blessed you with a wonderful spell and if it were i that had to tell Glenn Campbelle was the best i'd yell

very ,,,, very nice john ;} nice tribute,, He is still one of my favorite,, Line Man For the County,, my dad worked on the poles ;} I seen him on TV a few weeks ago,, he has Parkinson" ,,,,,his daughter play with him now & helps him take care of his business. "Oh and thank you for reading "My Son"

Well my friend, you haven't been affected by our age. You still know how to put words together and get a beautiful poem. I appreciate the lovely words you wrote on my poem. John, this is a nice poetic tribute to one of the finest country-western singers who ever cut a record. However, he spells his last name "Campbell" just like the soup.
