Giving Honour To Receive Blessing - Exodus 20: 12
As children we are obligated by God
to honour our parents with respect
as they brought us into this world
this is surely what God would expect
God honours those that honour Him
being faithful to those that do obey
as this is part of God's ten commandments
it's important to be faithful as we pray
Long life scripture does tell us
is our reward for to agree
living our life honouring God's law
is for the benefit of you and me
AUTHOR NOTES: Honour your father and mother, so that you may live long in
the land the Lord your God is giving you.
