The Sentinal

In a microcosm of life Facing the daily travails With all the torrents of strife Converging, as freedom prevails Standing as a beacon for others Against raging waves of assault Steadfastly opposing his brothers Harboring hope like a vault Disrespecting his independence The tempest is unrelenting His foundation, a pillar of cement Stands proud and unrepentant A symbol of hope and freedom The lighthouse remains standing tall A continuous searching beacon Lighting the way for all July 19 2017
