Faded...
She sits in the chair,
Gazing into the street,
Flashes of thoughts,
Perudes her mind,
As she regrets
The things she had done,
In her earlier years
With outbursts of emotion,
She bursts into tears....
The heart of a woman,
Once filled with lust,
With so much fervor,
Comings and goings,
She wishes now to go,
She has nothing to show,
For the life she had lived....
Her wrinkles of labour,
Tossed at the side,
The perplexity of lovers
She cannot hide,
Maybe too much to remember
She rather forget,
The route she had taken
Her employment......
"Its OK" she thought to herself
"Then again" she would say,
With trickles of laughter
She remembered the day,
Her mother placed her
Fourteen years old she was,
"This is how you make money
And do not make a fuss"....
She remembered her first night
Fifty- four He was,
"Come little one" He said,
"Come to daddy lets have some fun"
Famished with exasperation,
She returned to her present state
With clenched fists on her chair,
She recovers with hate....
Her eyes all red,
Weary with discontent,
Three babies all thrown out
In her heart she repents,
"Lord, I can never ask forgiveness
For the things I have done",
She closes her eyes
Her heart slows down
With the last breath in her lung
She whispers good bye,
Like the setting of the sun,
Her life all faded .......
