Everything Comes With a Price-
She wrote everything down
Page by page
It was a way
To conceal her rage
But then one day
There was a boy who came
He stole her heart
And her brain
She fooled herself with happy thoughts
She never really
Saw the loss
Until the day
She picked up a pen
Faced a wordless page
And drew a blank
She gained some courage
And walked the plank
She realized
What was the deal
And figured that
She had to spill
So the feelings came out
And so did his true character
There was definitely no
Happily ever after
He played a great role
But his acting was shoddy
She finally found
All her stolen belongings
But they were in pieces
The label FRAGILE long gone
Though once again
She could write her songs
As I'm sure you've figured
This girl is me
And I guess this proves
There's a cost for everything.
