Everlasting Light

Once upon a time you said to me, How you loved to be with me, I believed you for a while. With every kiss you gave to me, I knew that we were meant to be. I moved away and you were bitter, And your love began to wither. Your love for me will never be, But mine will still remain. I cry at night longing for you, I dream about you. And wish you were mine, So I could kiss you just one more time. I miss you so, I wish you were here. I love you, I love you dear. I sleep with the rabbit you gave to me, I long for you to hold me. My life now is not complete, Without you my heart hurts to beat. The last day I saw you, You took me in your arms, And whispered to me, How you would miss me, And dream of me for many years. The last kiss you gave to me, Was the best one of my life. Then I knew, You would be my everlasting light.
