Emotional ghost

Abandoned just when I needed you most Departing leaving behind an emotional ghost Pain it hurts so much Sorrow tears won't stop Promises broken without any thought Regret too late to be sorry Communication broken down without dialogue Actions no substance in the performance You promised to wipe away my tears to hold me in this world full of fears through my most severe trials and tribulations guaranteed to love me without confrontations Walking away believing no one exists for you leaving everything deluded by what is not true Bitter, stubborn, ignorant to how I am feeling oblivious to that heart you are warily stealing Nocturnal animal you stay awake at night reluctantly sleeping at the sight of light Open your mind and enable your heart to feel think carefully - this could be your final meal I yearn for you, like the night lingers for the stars because when love is true like romantic memoirs even those who in haste - foolishly depart the heart will never let them stay apart The Silent One 17 November 2015

Uncharted Waters

An ocean tumbles through dreams of you. In depths unknown, I float above. Oh, how I long to dive beneath your surface, yet I am timid in matters of love. If brave, I’d have shown you the whole of my gushing heart, no less than tides of bliss. Seeking depths unknown, I long to dive beneath your surface. Searching your eyes, I want for treasures lost on the ocean’s floor. The sun, like a gold coin, drops, splashing this face of regret. I blush in secret thoughts of you and turn away from the endless shore. A swoop from seagulls catches the light of your smile and breaks the hush of late sky. Turning away from the endless shore of regret, I blush. My lonely shore may flood, a wish to bathe in the caress of you granted. I shall break from fear, to brave a rolling river between us. Down current, I’ll swim until I reach your ocean of sparkling blues. I would drown in the waves of your uncharted waters. Glorious would be death in the caress of you, your uncharted waters…glorious. Death of the Poet Destroyer

~The Untold Fatal Attraction Poem~

Mid-morning she sees the sun ahead
Her death flowed in a messaged bottle
Gazing into her brown eyes upon all open sores,
Her conscience dark and gray a never-ending war!
A giant cyclone of a thousand thoughts swirled around this little girl.
Inflicting away the pain, through the comfort of others pen
The way she twisted and twisted life’s perception was out of her control
Inside she knew the glass slipper was never hers to show off
She is baring nothing but a tainted pen, walking throughout eternity’s sand
A prosecutor of misdeeds, accomplishing what, without knowing the way
Departing from her fractured self, she begins to slip into a righteous form,
Twirling her twilight's pen like a baton, spinning it to one final stand
She awakens in a dream, where her sadness does not allow the light to reform
Her body is weak and pale against the birth of her undying sun
Staring down into the deepness of every-bodies abyss
Inside all souls is where she felt lighter, than the retarded sun gives
A crimson sky follows her just to reveal her diminished soul,
A life of shunning out the city glow will always dwell deep inside her
Sleeping under society as one, insulting the taste of innocent blood
Forgetting the vengeance, in a dimension where the pen is mightier than the sword
How did she let it come to this?
In one feeling she fell in love with the spirit of the living rhyme
Watching from a cave, with a diabolical look
Refusing to grasp the self - nature and kill off the destroyer's will
A price beyond this enigmatic world, craving to be just like them
Condemning her meaning to a blasphemy of white butterflies
Destroying her poetic meaning that was destined to dance a tangle of endless rage
In love with the essence of her deceased will
She clings on to the dimness and brilliance at the same time
All corpses lost beyond the girl in question,
Sympathetic in a bizarre language, she mutters out sweetness
Her heart mended, recognizing all the adoration and poetic addiction
Exchanging the real terror, fixated by the life force of her poetic destruction
Giving birth to a new revelation
Now she will never deceive her love for the making of true art,
Not wanting to belong in this wretched world with her destroying criteria,
Her soul sails looking for a new era where love will no longer generate
As she loathes the love and decides not to destroy this generation with hate

At last, longing this one day with the angel of death
With a closing teardrop, one last thought
My death will not be the end; only the ascension~

Amidst the Fallen Petals

He was ever gentle with her
always careful
never passing the boundaries
never asking too much
a man of his culture
and bearing
didn’t move too fast

She was a flower
a flower he had plucked
from her family’s garden
with their blessing
she was safe in his keeping
though her scent drove him mad
its floral fragrance fascinating
deliriously desirous
she was fresh and innocent
he meant to make her bloom

He was patient
It was enough that she had consented to be his
she admired him
that he knew
it would be enough
for now…

And so he waited
willing for her to feel
admiration turn to love
love turn to passion
and so, he put her in a vase
filled with the nourishment of his love
and he tended to her
admiring her
his fragrant rose

Tonight he showed her the home
that would be hers

But what was this?
that look in her eye
the shyness gone
he saw…. longing
her face radiant
her lips inviting
petal pink
to match her cheeks
his rose
his flower
and yet
he dared not touch her that way
for fear of crushing her
in his rough hands

She whispered
ever so lightly
perhaps he dreamed it
maybe it was the breeze
whispering through the window
as it danced in her hair

No, there it was again…
“It is time…
I am ready.”
the meaning of her words
hung in the space between them
making it impossible to breathe
or even to think

And he watched
incapable of movement
as she stepped away from him
in the middle of the room
she turned to look at him
and one by one
she unfurled the petals
of her clothing
and let them fall down
fluttering to the floor
layer upon layer…discarded
all the while
as she undressed
ever so slowly
her eyes invited him

There she stood
with no covering
her raven hair
cascaded down her skin
reaching down
to the curve of her breasts
covering what he had only seen
in dreams…
but this
this was real
she was real
and she held out her hand to him

"Do I please you?"
her voice caressed the words
for she knew
the power of her beauty
she must have seen the answer
there in his eyes
for she moved forward
ever so slightly
“Come…come to me, my love…”

He was there
in an instant
his arms around her
he was there
before the lilting cadence of her last word
had a chance to fade away

She smiled,
once again a little shy
She reached up to him
letting him melt into her kiss
as she slowly drew him down

surrounded by the strewn petals
on the floor of their home
in the bed of his heart
he claimed her
as his own...
his flower
his rose
amidst the fallen petals...
he heard her sigh

As Comfortable As Possible

Closure eludes my clasp
Love wilts, somehow lasts
The destination beyond my grasp

The dream decays day by day
Your light, which never fades
Simply stopped shinning my way

Castrating chains of second chair
Faithfull, I wither for you there
Sucking stale stagnant air

Barely beating beneath my breast
My heart, now a hospice
Gently lays it all to rest

Lightly felt faintly heard
Pumping, pain-numbing words
Its over…its over… its over

Waiting for love

Oh beloved, where have you gone?
The echoes of your voice still haunt my mind
I'm calling your name, but you don't hear me
My tongue never tires from it.
But, my soul feels restless,
it dances alone in the pale moonlight.
My eyes turn to you,
they need guidance, but are blinded by your disappearance.
My heart falls upon deafness of the ears.
Which tire from its cries.
It's beating, but only to call your name.
The blood may rush around, but nothing excites the mind,
until you reappear
Oh beloved, come back to me
For, it is just you I seek
You arrived, in my hour of need when I was so lost
Come, come, come set me free,
from the chains of your everlasting love
Since you went away, you took with you my heart
Oh beloved, if you don't want to stay before my eyes,
then, return to me my fragile heart
Why present me with such riches,
only to take them away.

My pen is seduced by you

You take my breath away Leave me speechless You define beauty with your natural grace My pen is seduced by you Intoxicated, the ink flows, constantly praising your elegance Frustratingly I crave for your presence Only a glimpse required to steal your heart, unite spiritual nirvana, as we fuse in euphoria Touch will lead to ecstasy Passion will take over as our souls connect Be lost in lust lusciously merge as one The Silent One 25 September 2015

I just want to go home

This incalescent environment lacks in incandescence My cold blood struggles to breathe within this inferno Every day becomes a struggle and I just want to go home I do not belong here and am incongruous to this society An ignorant stranger to their beliefs and their customs They are oblivious to my being and care not to understand I want to go to a place where it rains and the fields are green Where every stranger smiles and everyone knows my name Where my loved ones patiently wait with open arms I long to feel loved again and feel a warm embrace I do not belong here, I just want to go home I long for, my beloved's kiss the eyes of my child my mother's food my fathers strength banter with my friends I count the days to when I will be homeward bound
Return to a place where I belong, a place I can call my home The Silent One 16 September 2015

Nescient of my love

You will never kill the poet in me My words express what you repress These poems are my liberation from your emotional philistinism What happened to that frog I kissed? Thirty years and still no prince When tears fall, your words are harsh Don't you know a lady does not choose to cry You turn away cursing my feelings Insensitive and ignorant to my needs Decades pass, still nescient of my love What happened to those I love you's? Do you stay because of the vows you made? Or is it the fruits I bore for you? Fledglings will always leave the nest, but it saddens me when ours flew from you Why do you mock the fruits that fall from my tree Slowly, I preserve them and protect them in a jar Maybe, these too are like my fledglings, but I don't want them to fly away... I'm still alive and I don't know why?
My heart survived falling from the butterfly sky

Caught by the hands of destiny
With visions only I can see!

My love I heard your call
Wings of a butterfly broke my fall

Love motion is in the air, a love no one can compare
Indulging a look-a-stare- that we both share

Reminiscing our love made out of stolen hope
Awe~:*! To them butterfly kisses that felt so real

Flowing like Amazing Grace,
A shining light upon my face.

I traveled fast and far, longing to be in your arms
I desire, the warm sensation of your charms

Your safe love will help me carry on,
With the strength and bond~the love you set upon

Nothing is better than a sensual butterfly kiss
Beyond the sensation of heaven's pure bliss

Fluttering in the clouds aiming for the moon
A dream of reality, out of my cocoon I bloom!

Valued by the art of true beauty and its rarity
True love flapping in the midst of clarity

I entwine that I am yours and you are mine
Bonded together till the end of time

With the vision, my heart is no longer blind
Two broken hearts at last combined

I glide below to touch your lip.
Our lashes touch from tip to tip.

Caressing each other as our wings expand
Two hearts- kisses collide and land

Holding your hand reaching to the rainbow sky.
Kisses:*kisses:* like the butterfly!

Dedicated to *My Babe*

Kiss the Rain

I'm leaving now, but here is a reminder
'Twill bring to you the days we walked through rain
So when you wish to feel my hand in yours
Or stroke your dripping hair-- Then kiss the rain

Though leaving now, I wish I could be with you
So when you feel o'erwhelmed with grief or pain
And long for my caress upon your face,
The rain will touch instead-- So kiss the rain

Whenever you have tho'ts of this sad parting
And salty tears your lovely cheeks do stain
To feel the tears for you I'll surely have
Do this, and I will too-- Go kiss the rain

Whenever you are longing for my presence
And times that we went strolling down the lane
I'll whisper soft endearments on the breeze
So heed the sighing wind-- And kiss the rain

If ever you should pine to hear me speaking
The thunder might burst forth with glorious main*
While drops that fall are sure to be my tears,
To feel them wet your skin-- Just kiss the rain

* Power or Force

Dreams of loving you

Longing for your touch on this empty night
I’m falling into you as my dreams take flight
The only way that I can have you near
Is to be with you until dreams disappear
I’ll take your hand when you ask me to dance
We’ll spend the night in this fantasy romance
With thoughts of you lying by my side
My slumbered thoughts will be satisfied
When daylight streams across my bed
I’ll still be loving you, lost inside my head

Please don’t wake me from this bliss
To leave your arms for sunlight’s kiss
I don’t want to end this night’s romance
Don’t want to face the day; I’d rather dance
The sheets feel cool against my skin
Your scent is on my mind, I’m still drinking you in
My eyes stay closed, I want to take my time
To linger with your body close to mine
But as I reach out to feel you near me
I’m awakened to the cold reality

Alone in this world, I go about my day
Distracting thoughts of you come back to play
Remembering when you whispered my name
My mind is on that moment, my heart is aflame
No matter what this day might bring
That memory alone will make me sing
The daydreams make the waiting worthwhile
I think of you, and have to hide my smile
All day long I’m looking forward to the night
When dreams of loving you will again take flight

Valley of broken hearts

My heart is a haunted secret of spirits from times gone by,
a heart desiccated from this so called tangled state of mind.
Angels flock and silently watch, as demons circulate devotedly,
to witness the end to a battle between right and wrong.
At a crossroad, I sit patiently balancing the process of thought,
caught up in the heart's desire to conquer the acumen of the mind.
To say goodbye to the love that will reluctantly, be left behind,
to venture to new pastures with the hope of a love that waits patiently.
Caught up in the taboo of doubt with shadows lurking close by,
persistent demons try to lead me upon the valley of broken hearts.
My soul is a masquerade of uncontrollable emotions,
suffocating me slowly admonishing me about the ghost of regret.
Trapped in a cage, my wings are clipped preventing me to venture forward,
how I long to escape from the prison of ignorance and judgement.
The door is ajar yet the mental chains are firmly in place,
so, I conclude to break my own heart as demons leave in disappointment.

Rugged ruins crumble silent through the night
Echoes of the dead roam the air
Moonlight vanishes to complete despair
Bones slowly desert distorted resting homes
Ascension of the dead -Longing to live again

Sands of desert flip the hour glass back
Rugged ruins crumble silent through the night
Echoes of the dead roam the air
Moonlight vanishes to complete despair
Bones slowly desert distorted resting homes

Taking light from where evil stays
Feeding away leaving behind a death valley zone
Rugged ruins crumble silent through the night
Echoes of the dead roam the air
Moonlight vanishes to complete despair

Dead souls forsake the common land
Shadowing like Equinox light
Walking corpse covered in rotten barren sand
Rugged ruins crumble silent through the night
Echoes of the dead roam the air

Upright, forward broken taboo
Searching for the perfect breath of fresh air
Sounds of symbols march the ground
Searching to find their missing heartbeat
Rugged ruins crumble silent through the night

Ascension of the dead -Long to live again
Bones slowly desert distorted resting home
Moonlight vanishing in complete despair
Echoes of the dead roam the air
Rugged ruins crumble silent through the night

All I Think About Is You

Looking out into the setting sun Bright orange and brilliant red hues Mind drifting off in the distance All I think about is you Each day we are getting closer but you are so far away My heartbeat is getting stronger As I think about you I need your love to hold me up When life comes crashing down Make sense out of everything When all seems lost You seem true Looking out in the setting sun Flickers of hope I see Foreseeing just you and me In each and every dream My heart is calling you home Come slip inside my room Lay your head upon my pillow Waiting, wishing, wondering All I think about is you

Come to Me

Come to me when love has robbed you blind
Come to me in search of someone kind
Come to me when tears run down your face
Come to me in search of saving grace
Come to me

Come to me when life cannot fulfill
Come to me in search of that sweet thrill
Come to me when tongues are filled with lies
Come to me in search of lover's prize
Come to me

Come to me when longing breaks your soul
Come to me in search of what makes whole
Come to me when night won't yield to dawn
Come to me in search of dreams now gone
Come to me

I will not ask you where your heart has been
I will not leave you out, but welcome in
I will not close my ears to troubled sigh
I will not ask what you have done or why
Come to me

I'll give to you a welcome in my bed
I'll give you pillowed breast for weary head
I'll give to you a drink of nectar sweet
I'll give you night of love the dawn to greet
Come to me

Come to me before night bleeds to day
Come to me before you lose the way
Come to me before this love grows old
Come to me before your heart goes cold

Come to me

Fight for the one you love collaboration with Eileen Manassian

Sometimes you can love with all you have.
Yet it is never enough to capture a heart.
Sometimes the love fades away over the years.
Hearts are broken without words even spoken.

How can it be that what you have is not enough?
When all you ever want to do is love and adore
What goes wrong when emotions so deep, so strong,
Can’t find expressions to reach the other heart

Yesterday's beautiful memories slowly fade away,
as the love in your eyes gradually dies.
What happened to the promises? Why has the love died?
I begin to dread the day you finally say goodbye.

Goodbye will never touch my lips while they yet draw breath
My heart still beats there, there in your hands, it feels, it bleeds
Though voiceless are the words it thunders, yet its memories speak
Louder than the doubts in your mind; will you listen, will you hear?

I hardly recognize this person lying next to me.
Is it that someone else has your heart, so you shun me.
What do I need to do to make you love me?
Or is this the end? Is my love not enough?

If you wander away, unable to stay, tired of delay...
Know this: my love is feeling and commitment entwined
My love is constancy and ecstasy reignited, redefined
My love is all you'll ever need, when tired, when you bleed

Do you recall the vows you made, to have and to hold, to love and to cherish.
Till death do us part, means you love me until death, not wish it sooner.
Life is a balance of holding on and letting go, so make up your mind.
My heart will bleed, but how can I live with a love that is not true.

Still the doubts that shout; still everything else but this....
Lay your head on my chest, and hear the thunder that prevails
This voiceless beating of words that courses through my veins
While this testament of life remains, my love for you will live.

Oh beloved sweetheart of mine, rest assured, I will fight for our love.
I will reignite that fire in your soul and awaken the ghost of passion.
I will become the object of your affection, the one you carnally desire.
You are my destiny and I, your fate, we merge as one, together and forever.

Memories of the beloved

He used to sit there watching the evening sun as the fire like colours glowed through the sky The beauty of her memories only intensified the pain as night slowly sunk in - he became jealous of the moon It was loved by so many stars glittering in splendour they seemed so happy, yet his eyes welled with sorrow He knew she had ascended to the heavens and he could see her smiling down at him He was sure his beloved was protected by the angels Dancing with them amongst the horizons So, he became envious of the angels, but never let the demons conquer him He had learnt to forgive her. because at first he didn't understand why she had left him and said goodbye taking his heart, soul and mind As the years went by gradually - he never loved another Every day he longed to be with her In death he saw a reunion with the one he cherished Finally, when the day came - he died in seclusion but was not alone - he loved once again The Silent One 6 October 2015

The distinguished gentleman

His simple presence lights up the darkest room
A man of calm demeanour and smoothness are his ways
All the ladies turn and stare wishing he would be their groom
Such class he oozes, so many offer him an abundance of appraise
Desperately trying to get his attention and to enter his gaze.

His subtle politeness is a rarity in the fast paced society of today
A distinguish gentleman as him, is one of a kind
Surrounded by jealousy, yet he keeps the vultures at bay,
as his enemies struggle to belittle his tenacious mind
He has no serious competition, as they all get left behind

Distinguished he is, but in no means is he complete,
for he longs for a beloved who will be his one and only
To show him loyalty, love and admiration, to never cheat
Someone he could be with forever and never feel lonely
He just wants to be loved, before he becomes an old crony!

My diamond you promised to only sparkle for me

My diamond you promised to only sparkle for me You shone so bright - I captured your light you weaved into my soul wove your name upon my heart Before our union you were like rust with patience your mirror was polished but, once you became radiant - you hid no more Now your glow does not belong to me no asset of mine - a public commodity You were never in chains - always free nor was I a prisoner of your mind's immaturity Seduced by the limelight - I hardly recognize your face For all that was sacred is lost - it will never be replaced Of course other jewels will never live up to you when you have had a diamond, what use are pearls Why do you shed tears - the damage has been done The scars will heal in time - I will get over you The Silent One 29 October 2015

I Look To the Moon

I look to the Moon, hanging aloft
Among the clouds so milky soft.
How must it feel, so high above?
So chilled and bleak and void of love.

Collapsed and sunken are his eyes,
Dark and deep as the onyx skies.
As the Moon shies from the sun,
I share no love with anyone.

The Moon is alone, without affection.
In its grim face is my reflection.
Inside my heart, the longing grows,
And rots my soul, a sickly rose.

While I look beyond this cage,
I clench my fists; they shake with rage.
I desperately stare above,
Wishing to fly, free as a dove;
For release from the troubled heart I claim,
To be finally rid of the madness and shame.
Although reprieve is found in song,
To no one does my soul belong.
In music, may the pleas be spoken,
But all in vain; the heart is broken.
The Sphere returns, begins to sigh.
We are not so different, You and I.
So twisted and fractured is the White Stone.
We both have no one; We are both all alone.

- Sparkling Oceans Apart -

You're a maiden so hot burning thoughts
whom melts ice inside deep waves salted
unfolding ocean swells kissing your feet
For once spoke those hot lips the truth shining

Sunshine pleasing warm beholding to
one's eye golden crowned jewel beauty
rainbow luster coloring pearl treasure

It's giving off their beauty pure free
that does not require something in return

A lady whom pleases the heart warm
Princess cut with deep class sparkling pure
utopia's adorable sun rise

How the body is heated and hear
her echoing heart beat in the chambers

Shining a future path dreaming ore
every single moment precious links
each one spent with you falling under spell

Love is like pure sparkling magic gem
unpredictable true and marvelous

Magic silk covers batting eyelids
enchanting soft lovingly flowers
beautiful petals held within the shell
Let the rose live forever and the sun
shines always endless times glistening gold

How do I tell you that you’re beautiful?

How can I be different?

How can I express my attraction?

When columns upon
Of testosterone filled wolves
Dressed in rented Italian suits
And discolored, mesh sneakers
Speak similar flirtatious dialect

Will this baby scented Sunflower do the trick?

I picked it from my walled Garden of Eden.

I spent 4 years mending these butterfly coated petals,
Solely for this moment

How can I express my need for your smile?

When tattered paper donations have been sent
To elicit short-term, newlywed goose bumps upon your flesh

May I have this dance?

You’ve never heard this sensual ballad.

But, it’s an element of my Spoken Word
Waiting for your translation

I await your palms,
Because this is not a Man’s world

This can be ours.

But, will you leap off from trampoline’s corazon?

My syllables are in your hands.

My book is within your misunderstood palm paths.

If you’re going to read between my lines,
Do not be illiterate to my heartbeats.

Your move…
