Easters Resurrection

Easter’s Resurrection “They came out of the tombs after Jesus’ resurrection and went into the holy city and appeared to many people.” Matt 27:53 Easter is a perfect example Of man not knowing God's plans. We see devastation, cruelty and death, But God sees the perfection of his hands. Christ rested on the Sabbath, As he slept in Josephis tomb; His body temple raised early Sunday morning; Set free from death’s doom. The joy of Christ’s resurrection Made all forget their sorrows. Grief was stopped in her tracks; The mountains skipped below. All heaven rejoiced that morning, As the heavenly High Priest was appointed, And watched intently forty days, Before our Lord departed. O the joy of Easter; The sunshine that follows rain; God raised his one and only Son— Our hope of eternity to gain. This is a time for celebration, Not a time for gloom or tears. God is a God of miracles. But to the miracle of Easter, No other miracle compares! Copyright © 2012 Maureen LeFanue www.maureenlefanue.com

This is a beautiful poem. A young girl at the school where I work was recently hit by a car and the students have been quite upset. The administration even led a prayer for her and her family today during lunch (a public school) It was moving; you poem just made me think of her.
