Driven By Desire

It's always best to keep some feelings Hidden from even your mate Not to share every innermost thoughts When relationships are at stake Each of us can be emotionally affected By charm, personality and image Doesn't mean we don't love our mates Feelings at times hold us hostage Human nature is what they've call it Might as well cash in your chips If you can't look at beauty passing by It's there to brighten life's trip So please don't call it illicit or immoral When males are driven by desire The female form is a vision of beauty That ignites every man's fire © Jack Ellison 2013

The Dragon is constantly trying to hold me hostage till he gets what he wants... It usually ends with us both in time out by the Lake... PS. Dragon has a Godzilla poster up in his cavy room... I think he's got the hots for her... I hope he doesn't try to convince her to leave Toyko... We have enough problems in America as it is!

It's me again! Lovely quatrain...men are very visual beings. They were created that way. There is nothing wrong with admiring beauty...Oh...I'd wax eloquent, but I'll just say that "look but don't touch" is good advice...but also..."look and don't lust!" ;) That's hard to do, I know...but not impossible! Lovely write, Jack! :)

And here we are again, back at this topic. It seems to have much controversy, and it all depends on the situation. I do believe there is a moment when a man crosses that line (or even a woman for that matter). But I also believe that thoughts can't be 100% controlled at all times. When thoughts turn to action, you know for a fact you've gone too far...
