Dreams In the Dark
I wonder why I should embark
When there are dreams in the dark
Dreams of every piece and flavor
Drops of sugar, a gift, a favor
Wildest eyes I see out
Shouldn’t disguise what it’s about
It’s not with sleeping or believing
But rather with all this seeing
Into the night you see beyond
I must fight with truth and sound
Ideas manufactured in your sleep
Are products of the night you should keep
They are tied to our past
Not knowing its length or its last
I produce a wild feeling inside
Dreams bring interest opening wide
