Dreaming Into the Day
You waken from a dream of pure delight,
relinquishing the magic of the night.
But as you go outside, you find the hue
of sky is now a technicolor blue!
The grass and trees are greener; every flower
possesses now a greater fragrant power.
How sweet is everything! How can it be?
The answer, friend, is very clear to see.
When love has come to you, this is its way;
enjoy it! You're dreaming into the day!
