Dreaming Into the Day

You waken from a dream of pure delight, relinquishing the magic of the night. But as you go outside, you find the hue of sky is now a technicolor blue! The grass and trees are greener; every flower possesses now a greater fragrant power. How sweet is everything! How can it be? The answer, friend, is very clear to see. When love has come to you, this is its way; enjoy it! You're dreaming into the day! 5/20/13 For 'A BRIAN STRAND 2 to 14 line ' Poetry Contest

Love stinks! When it doesn't come your way. A dreamer dreams his life away waiting to dream into the day.

Andrea, I believe you have written something so true. Our disposition has an effect on the senses and the brain. I remember, and have said, that after 9/11 the world looked devoid of color to me. It's lovely to see something like this. Thank-you for what you do and thanks for your very kind comments.

Yes! Love!! Da powah!Very dreamy write, dear Andrea. By the way - I have written a few Haiku with Kinkade as inspiration. I realize that you arteests look down on poor Thomas, but I like the light he puts into his paintings. Sincerely, Whistler's brother

And good idea about having a way to know if there are any poems on someone's page you haven't read...very good idea. As far as me...I might have a few you haven't seen, or you might have read every one. I'll check a couple out and if you have left no comment, I'll assume you haven't seen it. Then let you know which ones(if any!)

Looks like someone has got the love bug... and enjoying the heck out of it. Loved this! At first I thought you were gonna turn this into a facade type deal and you suddenly awaken, realizing none of it was real... apparently that's not the case though! I look too deep into things sometimes...
