Differences

As my pen declares and writes the truth Just look around at everyone that’s the proof Everyone is different in some many ways But it is methodical that we all hope to see another day By faith I see the unseen things hid from all earthly eyes; What I’ve seen will make you cry You may think I'm tough; But you have no idea my life has been so rough Many have judged me because the color of my skin I have never let color or gender stop me for wanting to be their friend But like they say sheer ignorance is bliss I have a question, “In what ways do you think we can fix this?” Now days a lot of people feel grander and they differentiate, And against those who are different they discriminate. It feels as if I was just a shadow of the day, But in the light I exist and in darkness, I am gone away!
