Diamonds In the Snow

The wind has fallen, out of bluster, sun ices the sky upon the crust of frozen snow diadems arise. Glittering crowns crest maple trees, diamond on the bough they bring a beauty and a peace no soul can disavow. The wind has fallen, out of bluster, sun ices the sky twinkling like diamond remnants, snow lends the day surprise. Glittering crowns crest maple trees, diamond on the bough oh how I hate to hear the roar of the coming plough. Poet: Debbie Guzzi

There are positive and negative aspects to winter as you show so clearly. Stay warm and keep writing! Peace & Love Matthew Anish

Beautiful images of a pure snowy world. In your comment on my poem you asked where I was hiding. I was blessed to have all six grandchildren with me for the holidays. I immersed myself in the joy of them and kept the world at bay.

I am shivering just thinking of how cold you must be on this below freezing night (of the big storm)! Hope you are staying cozy and warm, dear Deb......and hope those nasty ploughs can dig you out....diamonds or no diamonds!!
