Diamond Dust, Devil

Diamond Dust, Devil On Mars there is only life It turns forever up In growing glowing heights Dust devils in the diamond light Roam endlessly on rocks and planes Lifting seas of sand Out of the silent planet Dust devils take to flight To foreign lands Across the universe and cosmic spans And fall down devil hot Like diamond dust they cool and settle As planned they find your heart And land upon the softest spot (Diamond Dust, Devil - SKAT contest)

Hi SKAT! I am very interested in the science and exploration news about Mars. A couple of months before your contest I wrote a poem about the dust devils on Mars. It went off in a different direction though. I enjoyed the challenge of doing this one for your contest. Thank you for commenting. Have a good night. Earl
