Desperately Lonely, Tragically Invisible

The times we share together Are magical memories in the making Leaving me at peace In total contentment with us Your radiant warmth surrounds my soul Protecting it from loneliness Of the countless years of neglect That fights so hard to hold on My arms are there to wrap your warmth Ensure that it never grows cold With the coldness that comes along with indifference Or being as thin and transparent as cellophane We will never again Be desperately lonely, tragically invisible Left alone in purgatory By the broken promises of false love Now we are one Except when we need the strength of two Companions in every endeavor Hand in hand through life © 2011 Kevin Stock
