Cool Delight--Duo-Rhyme

She clings to me oh Mother Rain The liquid spills of pearls unchained My tresses wet, a cool delight As always she, the nymph of night Inducing trills of birds on flight; Her crystals drop to charm the sight. With fragrance sweet that lingers bright On moon bewitched as air grows white, That on damp flesh, a thirst incites A torrent wild for soaking rites; I drink her wine without restraint And bare my frock to romp again. . ......... looks like I am doomed to be forever 0.4 cm below you Young N..... well done with this refreshing piece ( glad you used my "liquid spills" "bare my frock to romp" and "trills of birds"......no thanks are required)............your poem is replete ( check dictionary under R) with some lovely phrases and the whole feel of wetness is Wordsworth-like......with sincere admiration......KC

You were completely immersed in the loosened pearls of rain drinking and inhaling her sweet fragrance...How delightful this personification. The couplets in this are so enticing too!...There was another personification I read today that was outstanding...I think it was Michelle McDonald's about seaweed--french seaweed,,,I am amongst the masters when I am on this site..Loving your work as always...gwendolen
