Consistently Yours, Mr Moon

Can I be a constant feature Set you on your path Guide you when you unawares And watch you as you toil Can I be a conscience Help you on your growth Your constant life companion From a distance dazed by eyes I can be your confidence When words of tears stream into focus As a compass I can offer you hope of a brighter wind at sea Let me be your gold-plated armour Protect you as you draw to slumber When life showers with its endlessness I'll bear the blows discreetly I am the one you look to but yet you cannot see The one who lights your path so gently yet you can only behold of me in the darkness My light does not create you but yet keeps you in sustain Rotating about your limited universe From conception till your biddings breath I write to you this evening To remind you plain and clear That although by day I may be hidden Yet in the deserts night i can be seen Don't be puzzled at this letter As my intentions have been clear You're the love I seek from a vast plane Consistently yours, Mr Moon
