Completed

it's not about me only, it's not about the sex
it's not about conversation, it's not about text
it's not about beauty, it's not about class
it's not intoxication, it's not about cash

but if i were to name, specifically what it is
then i could just say it is
the thing that makes me complete

the reason they call it sugar
is because it's so so sweet
and holding hands gives a special feeling
that to me is so so neat

the word love has new meaning
when it's being heard
it's a feeling so exceeding
it's more than just a word

it's nice to know someone is waiting
where ever it is they wait
it's nice to know someone is coming
trying not to be late

it's the something special 
that makes us more than friends
it's the something special
that we'll carry  to the end

what is it specifically
that i'm trying to claim
it's a piece of my puzzle
that i know bears your name

Your poemis a lovely romantic poem, I hope it is written for a special person. Thanks for reading my poem Ink. and leaving a comment. The poem is an allegory about writing and how often we poets run out of ideas (writer's block) and are dry and idle while we wait for an inspiration to refill us. Sometimes the idleness from writing feels like a rampage in my brain.
