Come My Lord Jesus

Vacate these premises when my lease runs out, When my time comes, and it will no doubt. My God leaves with me, to take me home, For where I have lived has been sparse and bare, Compared to the Mansion where He resides there. Why Lord, I have to ask, have you chose me, A lowly driver to live with thee? All my life I tried so hard to please others. I was ignored by my own sisters and brothers. It can only be the love You have for such as me, That allows me to come and abide with Thee. So I thank you Lord in advance of the day. That you send Your Son Jesus to lead me away. © Dave Timperley 05 September 2016

I feel the same way about it myself Dave. Well written. Sounds a lot like a prayer.

It is a prayer Daniel, but it is, for me anyway, a statement of fact based on my faith. Thanks for stopping by my friend, always welcome. God Bless. D.
