Sadly my mother didn't stick around long enough, not that I recall much previous to six years old. Too much trauma at a young age has blanked my memory. Love this short piece wishing it was me, hugs, James xx

Jan thanks for comments from another ex-Brummy, saw your notes. Poems were one therapeutic way of coming to terms back in 2007, I had Male Hormone Therapy for 28 weeks followed by 4.5 weeks of radiotherapy, now on annusl PSA testing and have received excellent treatment all the time at Southend Hospital and as a member of a Support Group. I had a very supportive family and still have though sadly my dear wife succumbed to an embolism last year. Must finish with a hug, take care Mike x

So glad you are doing so well and are using your poetry and humour to get a valuable message out to people that this cancer can be cured. hubby had robotic surgery in 2013 3 monthly PSA tests but life is good and I now have a wonderful hobby which if you read my poems has got me through the worst possible time in my life with my dad being diagnosed with terminal cancer. So sorry to learn of your sad loss - keep writing & I will keep reading - I will add you to my fave poets :-) Hugs Jan xx
