I try my best Deborah but sometimes it gets so tough - the older I get the more I appreciate my parents and the sacrifices they made for us and know that i wont have them forever. Hugs as ever my lovely friend. Jan xxx

A thoughtful and beautiful poem on taking time for folks combating isolation. As a volunteer I can relate. There is always someone who has a story to tell and it feeds your need for caring. Great Write, JAN!

Thanks for dropping by Ralph. I am so blessed to have both parents. If people could alter their attitude and give time as well as sticking their hands in their pockets - would make all the difference. I used to visit an old lady oh boy did i learn a lot from here - my poem the scent of lavender is written in her memory. Hugs Jan xx Hugs Jan x
