Greg, it's taken me a while, but I knew I'd eventually get around to checking out your first post. As we used to say back in 2016, a 7 for me! Really, it's an excellent merging of celestial imagery and a flight of fancy with science fiction flavorings and romantic overtones... vintage Bard. Love the GIF too, love it all ~ John

Many kind thanks to you, John, I greatly appreciate it - this was my first "serious" poem, (I'd written a couple of others throughout life), and it still stands up pretty well - I was in a much more positive and whimsical state back then, and it was before my crisis of faith. Interesting to go back ... I think I've grown as a writer, but BETTER? I don't know ... I'm proud of this one. Blessings, Brother! :o)
