Celeb-Pity

When is it they get to the place that is 'too far'? When do they know that they've lost the essence of who they are? Do you think they deserve what they get? Do you think they don't really care? Does money, power, fame pay for itself? Do we laugh and ridicule them for being them? I ask myself the question: do they deserve pity? Do they deserve respect? Some do, some don't, some did Some didn't. The smile doesn't dazzle like it did. The name doesn't get the full attention it once had. The days turn from the excitement of now to the excitement of 'once been' Older now, do they fade faster than the rest of us? It must be like losing twice, Dying twice! Fame and fortune, what a sacrifice? In the end they fall back on themselves. Their alter ego remains a living ghost who deserted overnight! Age, looks, respect! That's not me in the mirror.....what a god damn sight? Gone. Now an alien living in their skin? Someone else there that they blocked from memory, Someone they used to be! Back to the track of reality! You had your time in the sun. You had your time in the fame. You had a place in the game. Now why feel ashamed? Can you face the cold dark of reality? Can you remember your life, yourself, you.....celebrity?
