Called To Suffer - 1 Peter 2: 21
Jesus Christ is our saviour
He is also our Lord and King
so as He suffered in our place
for our salvation, He did bring
This was His divine calling
to rescue us from hell
crucifixion's an awful death
but Jesus loved us so much to tell
As our great saviour suffered
so follow Him we must do
called too are we the same
in our calling to be true
Christ is our real true example
in following His father's will
so we must do likewise
no matter the suffering follow still
