I had a dream one night, that I was a beautiful butterfly,
but not just any butterfly, I had transparent wings;
clear as glass, I reflected the forest like a stained window,
I lived in a mountain fog-shrouded rain soaked place,
I was beloved too!
I had eternal beauty for this was a magic forest of dreams,
lingering on the toxic nightshade plant to feed;
all creatures kept a distance from my deadly touch,
oh, is nature not funny to make something so beautiful,
but so deadly too!
