Breathing Gratitude
May we look not to defeat
Bounty laid upon our feet
Seek instead your highest power
Quickly now, its zero hour
A solace for ugly scars
Cut in fear behind jaded bars
Love breaks free our prison cell
Giving peace a place to dwell
Begin by blessing to come awake
With first breath one does take
Admit the beauty for just the day
Bow down, give thanks and pray
