Bless the Blade-Contest

Bless The Blade Kneeling down in prayer In my own temple on hill top Thanking the gods For all their blessings My vast kingdom richly laid Two handsome youths Brought up in royalty To rule over the ordinary mortals But, a searing pain in my back I collapsed in a bloody pool Colouring the alabaster floor I turned up to eye the coward The lad that rocked in my arms smiled I raised my hand to bless the blade October 4, 2015 Contest: Forgiveness Sponsor: Craig Cornish
