Birthday Ballad
Where ever you are dear
May love and condolences appear
I can see you're damaged child
Through the freight of the night
The empty plates
The search for a soul mate
Here's to your smile
Often I wonder
How you will survive the night
It bothers me
But you carry on
Endlessy, alone
In time
I learned to hold my head
And morph into a man
Back against the wind
Nothing to offer
As the person that I am
We stand, hand in hand
Trying to reminisce
On the happy thoughts
But there's no fairy dust
For this peter pan
I'm thankful
For the days
That I am missed
The urgency that
That my life
Has suddenly kissed
I'll make it
I always do
And If I do not
Then I guess
I went with in the night
"My expired where abouts"
