Bi-Polar

Bi-Polar I feel pretty in a dress but inside I feel a mess I guess as Bi-Polar is kicking me at last. At times I find happiness inside of me, But inside I’m just not free. But in time I will feel free, By writing my poetry to all that need. I know my grand-babies accept what for who I am But only truly knows me, But at times I hide me. I hardly go outside into the environment as they might hurt me , In spite of myself. My kitten & dog , and Roge ,and Lissa accept only me, So I write my poetry So with GOD’s help he guides me into the light.

I'm bi-polar Cheryl. The flight and fancy, ups and downs and fear and loneliness can be overwhelming. I think poetry helps and yours is a fine example. Thank you. Randy Biffany

Cheryl, I have always wondered what it would be like to experience great joy and tremendous grief in the same day. Bipolar is an afliction that may actually enhance creativity because the emotions are so strong! Thank you for sharing this poem. I found it very thought-provoking! Carolyn

I too am Bi-Polar and have two children that are as well. I feel for you for it is a struggle. Friend to friend, the writing helps. It is a balance for the mind, a relief for extremes and a place to live love and explore your dreams. Smiles from Lolita32
