Believe Me, Please! (To My Friend Ira)

translation from Russion "God keeps the ships, God keeps the ships, and will bless us!" Alexander Grin(the great Russian writer) ---------------------------------------- Ira, I so am tired! I know - you too are tired. Ira, both of us have got tired, Because of the importunate dreams - it is too disturbing, Because of the disappointments and losses - it is too painful, How we can rescue us from the uninvited thoughts and the curious eyes? But, my dearest friend, believe me, please - There are many good songs and poems, Which tell us that the world is fine, And the bride, Spring, will come again. Sometime we shall float on the white ship along warm sea from all our problems and troubles. The seagulls will laugh, There will be many flowers and fruits in a small southern city. We shall find there our good success, Ira, believe me, and remember the words of A.Grin: "God keeps the ships, God keeps the ships, and will bless us!"
