For Charles Messina's Before The Day Turned Into Night Poetry Contest

a poem that I forgot to enter into Charles' contest

______________________________________________________________________

Before the day turned into night, the sun was shining big and bright. It was indeed a wondrous sight that filled my heart with such delight. In afternoon there came a breeze which fluttered leaves upon the trees. My strands of hair it liked to tease, but in the heat I felt at ease. Before long, twilight time had come. The sky turned rose, and then to plum. Enchanted by it I’d become. Such beauty – where does it come from? The easy answer? From above comes beauty from our God of love.

Beautiful in its simplicity. I’m usually not a fan of mono-rhyme, but you make it work.

Completely agree with you. Beauty comes from God alone. How I pity the Satanists who think the evil one will give them special powers.

Awwn indeed, such beauty comes from the heavens above, directed by the eden of God, purely divine.. Ahh, everything is so beautiful and soothing about this Quatorzain, dear Andrea.. Especially "The sky turned rose, and then to plum" I can imagine those skies unfurling in front of my eyes.. So unique and absolutely enchanting! Love your profound wordplay here along with gentle flow of words.. Beautifully knitted, as always.. Sending light & best wishes for the contest too :)
