Beach of Despair

The darkness of the night and the depths inside Is clipped by the glare of the soulless dim moon Slicing through the water, breaking off the tide A black crow belts his caw making one to swoon There’s a straw house, quite decrepit and lonely No light strays inside this house which is empty The beach of despair carries many footsteps With all seeming to end nowhere, no free steps

wow! Russell, I love every line here. Many have falling victim to the beach that burns inside. I am fearful to the crow and the caw... I don't think nothing can prevent the tragedies left when one searches for that one certain flash in their lives... and realize all they left behind was many sets of scattered footprints.. I think my strength's is always tested, I have callus on the bottom of my feet to prove. Still I believe grace can never have an end... xox~ LINDA

First, I'm visiting because I am having trouble posting on the red sun contest. If you could visit and read mine, I would appreciate it. Now, for your little journey on this desolate beach.
