~ picturing my own funeral ~ bagpipes make me very emotional ~

Having experienced the powerful thrill of bagpipes at highland games and the Edinburgh Tattoo, I can so relate to this. Bagpipes can make my heart dance with joy or break down and cry. For you to be thinking ahead to your own funeral accompanied by bagpipes is so moving to me, Line.

Beautiful and insightful write, Line. My 2 daughters arranged for a bagpiper to play at my wife Vera's graveside service after the funeral this past July. He played "Amazing Grace" and "Going Home" and I've requested the same when my time comes. BoB

No more beautiful sound Line,I love the pipes, my family were Scottish settlers that went to the west of Ireland, so its in the blood. Happy Easter. Tom
