Backwards Proposal
Working extra hard a lot
For the plans that I have got
In a special time and place
A surprise look on his face
Soft blindfold on eyes of gold
What a sight he will behold
I will lead him through a door
That will shock him to the core
Of his soul, heart, even mind
Opening his eyes to find
I am down on bended knees
Asking him to marry me
My hand starts to shake and shiver
Holding a ring made of silver
My heart pounding scared to death
Hoping his answer is yes
He lifts me up and softly whispers
"Yes" and gives me gentle kisses
Hugging me so strong and tight
In his arms all through the night
