Love it and the picture. Reminds me of Eddie Rabbitt - Rocky Mountain Music 1977. I was 22 yrs old. Your picture also reminds me of the creek out behind the property I live on. It floods almost every year. Not this year,there is a drought in calf. this year :)

Love the back roads in the Highlands in Scotland, for one still sees the majestic true beauty that abounds, nice one Andrea, James :) :)

Hello Andrea, really good thoughts on ole Kentuk here, I presume you are in the picture somewhere, (in spirit anyway ) I see you have also done a write for my contest Which I have not looked at for days..' I shall go and check up on at least two entry's or I'get behind..' catch ya later

This is quite evocative work! I didn't know you had been to Kentucky. I like to watch the Derby on TV and always like to hear the band play "My Old Kentucky Home". Peace & Love Matthew Anish

I am all for the lush tranquilness. But being from Minnesota, all I see is humidity and mosquito's. How's that for being a Dougy downer. :) All that aside, I did a lot of growing up on those backroads.

Nice haiku..but, the backroads of Kentucky are anything but tranquil..my mother was born, raised in Kentucky..it's a different world..
