Awaiting a Tale
I call the sea my home
With white winged seagulls and salt sprayed foam.
Slippery ledged rocks about
as I peek to watch the human’s shout.
Sailors have cried for lost
Plunging into the waters with their ropes crossed
I rush to there side
in hopes guide.
I live amongst the dolphins
where I often catch a ride.
Many a sailor has marveled about my existence
Remembering that I’m a mermaid I keep my distance
Tales are told from the young and the old
about a evening of fury .
appeared a mermaid, to their eyes still blurry.
So I glide along this water of green
magical ocean potions marine.
So if you ever walk along the shore
listen to the ocean sounds that roar.
In it’s echoes
I shall soar.
Mermaid woman ,forever more.
