Autumn Watch - Tanka Contest

I listen and watch the canada geese, fly in vee shaped formation* what a beautiful vision as onto the lake they glide Penned on November 2nd 2013. *This is an annual occurrence, so wonderful to see them all fly in. Then every day they fly to different water spots and back in the evening to a near by reservoir.

Where I live is a spot where the Canadian Geese fly over on their way north in the spring and again in the fall head when they head south..I enjoy seeing them and hearing them argue over who is going to have to take the lead..We now have at least one gaggle of Canadian Geese that live here..Enjoyed reading your well thought out work..I could just see the scene..Reads like a winner to me..Thanks for the visit to my page..Sara

They are beautiful creatures until you have to wash you car! This is a wonderful write my friend! You have impressed me with your knowledgeable insight on the Tanka form! I really enjoyed reading this lovely poem this morning! What a delightful piece, Great Work!!
