Argus - Time Was

Time was perverted the day we hung Him there... 8/27/15 Seemed like an ordinary assignment at the time. We took our delight in giving Him a big sendoff today and the whole city seemed to be there. What a mob! This was our court, this was our law, this was our justice. Who did He think He was, never saying a word in His own defense? Did He think He could flaunt all this before our Procurator? No, His fate was sealed long before He came before the court. Even His own people were calling for His death. That was the verdict... and the conviction now had to be carried out. The road stretched before Him, up to THE PLACE...CALLED SKULLL. We made Him carry the instrument of His death, a cross. I, mysellf drove the spikes into His flesh. I felt the blood that was draining the life from Him. I helped tie His arms to the crossbar so He could only sag against the weight of His own body...making His pain only more intense. I laughed with my comrades as we rolled the dice to see who would get His robe, the last bit of His worldly remains. We cared not for the few bystanders that clung close to Him. The old woman and the younger man who had followed His painful journey up the hill. He spoke but a few words as He hung there gasping for air. "FATHER, FORGIVE THEM, FOR THEY KNOW NOT WHAT THEY DO. IT IS FINISHED." With that He died. A huge black storm covered the land although it was only early afternoon. I took my spear and thrust it into His side, only to be covered in His blood and water. I heard, myself say, "TRULY, THIS MAN WAS THE SON OF GOD."

Thanks, Andrea. Have you heard from Carolyn Devonshire lately? I used to be in contact with her before my accident, but it has been years since I was on the computer and just getting back into it. I hope she is well.
